Important: Cornerstone Recovery Foundation (CRF) is a peer-supported recovery residence and is not a licensed treatment facility. CRF does not provide medical or clinical substance use treatment. We are here to encourage and help guide you along your journey with recovery, and to hold you accountable to the following rules and guidelines.

Eligibility: Cornerstone Recovery Foundation will not house Registered Sex Offenders, Violent Offenders, or Sexual Offenders of any nature.
Violation of, or an inability to comply with, the following rules is grounds for immediate discharge from CRF. Please note that if you are mandated by parole, probation, or court and you are discharged for any reason, the incident will be reported immediately to the supervising officer. We will also notify the person you list as relative. No refunds are given under any circumstances.

Law enforcement and parole/probation officers are granted access to the house and to information on all participants at any time.

House Rules

  1. NO use of alcohol or any mind-altering and/or mood-changing drugs.
    • If you assist or allow another participant to use — this includes NOT informing CRF that you are aware of another participant in violation — you will be immediately discharged from Cornerstone Recovery.
  2. All doctor-prescribed medication and all over-the-counter drugs must be approved.
    • Applications must clearly state any and all medication a person is taking and for what condition, in order to determine whether that person is eligible to be a participant at CRF.
    • CRF reserves the right to attend doctor appointments with participants and confirm ALL medical information with doctors, dentists, hospitals, etc., before and during residency at CRF.
    • Any regular medications that are discontinued need to be done under a doctor's supervision. A letter from your healthcare provider is needed prior to stopping medication.
    • All participants must check with CRF before taking any medication, including over the counter and supplements. No diet pills, steroids, appetite suppressants, or peptides are allowed.
  3. Participants must submit to urine drug screens and/or breath tests upon request.
    • Refusal to submit to a drug screen and/or breath test will be considered an admission of using.
    • Once asked for a urine sample, you MUST produce it within 1 hour, and you may not leave the eyesight of CRF until results are finished.
    • The results of the drug test will be considered final. If a participant insists the test is incorrect, then the participant will be responsible for immediate testing from an outside agency. The test will be at the expense of the participant, and if positive, the participant will not be allowed to ever re-enter CRF.
    • If CRF suspects you are using or drinking, a positive test result is not required for discharge.
  4. Participants must have NO PENDING COURT CASES.
    • All cases MUST BE CLOSED.
    • All fines MUST BE CURRENT.
    • Any new cases or charges while at CRF may result in removal.
  5. Each participant is expected to be self-supported and must contribute financially to the running of the CRF home. A one-time, non-refundable intake fee of $300 is to be paid if accepted as a resident. A payment of $375 is due on the 1st and the 15th of each month ($750 per month). If the amount is not paid, is late, or if you have a balance owing to Cornerstone Recovery Foundation, participants may be placed on Financial Probation, which includes:
    • A modified Phase I.
    • Providing the House Leader with a pay stub and a written budget/financial plan.
    • If a participant is unable to pay, depending upon the individual situation and circumstances, you may be asked to leave CRF.
    • We do not give refunds.
  6. Participants are not allowed to work in or go into any alcohol-serving or adult entertainment establishments while at CRF, including but not limited to bars, nightclubs, or casinos. Any questionable establishment should be cleared with the House Leader.
  7. If a participant relapses, she/he may be allowed back to CRF after an approved drug/alcohol evaluation has been completed and all recommendations have been followed, with careful consideration by administration.
    • A minimum of 2 weeks before re-entry will be considered.
  8. Participants will attend meetings. If a participant is employed (40 hours or more) they will attend a minimum of 5 meetings per week. If unemployed (or working less than 40 hours), participants will attend a minimum of 10 meetings per week.
    • The number of meetings is not negotiable. Treatment/outpatient does not count as a meeting.
    • Qualifying meetings include: Celebrate Recovery, church, sponsor meetings, counseling, AA/NA, men's prayer group, and peer support groups.
    • If a participant chooses to change sponsors, they need to have a new sponsor lined up before parting ways with their old sponsor, AND they must notify their House Leader.
    • Proper meeting etiquette is required at all meetings.

    • Photos, posters, etc. must be placed on each person's billboard and are not allowed on walls.
